Anyone looking to case in the next few days?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

I'd recommend trying a corporate facility first - you know ow: VetCor, AmeriVet, Banfield The like - not the BEST place that I have ever worked, but a good foot in the door , I suppose. You needy to start somewhere. It might not be your first choice , but it's a start and start getting some experience and putting your knowledge and excitement for the work to use! Wishing you all the best (22+ Year Tech)
Im in a similar position. Ive recently graduated myself from Northwest Missouri after wanting a career change but finding a job without any prior experience (not counting volunteer work) is near impossible. Have even started to look out of state in KS, IA etc as I'm willing to relocate but its super hard to get your foot in the door. Will be following this post for any helpful advice. I hope your situation improves.
