I'm an R&D Scientist with PhD. Most experience in academia, some clinical trial in vet med, 1.5 years in medical device industry. I am tired of R&D instability and low pay. Seems pivoting to Clinical would be a good move with possibility to grow, and better paid. I am FULLY confident I can do the job, and what I don’t know I can learn FAST. But how? I applied in the past and got very few calls back. What can I do to be more appealing? Anyone looking? I want to find a place to thrive! Thanks!

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

I’m a new patent prosecution associate and unfortunately only just now realized that maybe prosecuting patents isn’t something I want to do long term. I loved copyright (and trademark) in law school, but I have loans to pay off.
