I have over 10 years of musical experience and have always been a highly organized and detail-oriented person. Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

What certificates/training should I do in order to apply for a brand manager/marketing manager on the brand side? Almost regretting my choices since I come from a prominent pharma ad agency as an account, and it seems like most brands consider account as sales, and limit pharma transition into non-pharma industry.
