I'm considering getting out of the sales grind but my whole career has been in sales. That said, I think a natural transition would be something like Sales Operation / Strategy or something in that realm. Would anyone who works in that world share what the day to day of those roles looks like? What are the skills needed and what could i bring to the role as a former top (ish) performing salesperson

Starting a new job at Applied Materials on Monday as a Manufacturing Engineer III. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Does anybody has tips or advices on what I should expect as a new hire and how I can set myself up for success? Thanks!

Are Google , IBM , Meta learning certificates, worth it? Do they really impress employers? If had an IBM data science certificate without any experience for example what type of role can expect or should I expect any?

General question, and I suspect the answer is no. Are there any employment or exec comp-related jobs in the entertainment industry? Or, are there any law firms purely focused on entertainment that have a comp/employment/benefits group? I’m at a large firm with a lot of high profile artists, but I’d like to narrow my practice down to entertainment.

About me: Water engineering/treatment and power plant performance experience for nearly 10 years. Are there any good PM certification that’s worthwhile? Not something that’s on Udemy for 2 hours of coursework.
Most “certifications” I’ve seen seem a bit superficial… but my current PM job feels like a glorified project manager role so I was hoping to use my extra time to study/earn a certificate to show my skill. If possible.
