I went from consulting to industry, In my consulting career, I focused on project management engagements where I gained strong foundational skills in managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams. Recognizing that transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry requires not only these core project management skills but also a deep understanding of industry-specific knowledge, I made a concerted effort to build expertise in clinical development processes, regulatory requirements, and data management practices.
Roles like program manager or project manager in the pharmaceutical industry demand a nuanced understanding of clinical development cycles, regulatory landscapes, and the unique challenges of R&D timelines.
