I am a Reliability Maintenance 3P contractor for Amazon. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering on June 2022. If you start as a Program Manager, how/when do you begin to advise people as a people lead? I’ve heard Program Managers are not people leads. Reorgs are just a part of the corporate world. If you haven’t been a part of one in your career yet, then you most likely haven’t been in the corporate workforce for very long. If you have been a part of a reorg, however, how do you personally approach it? There are many factors at play, but in general do you try to establish relationships with the individuals you know will be key contributors and/or decision makers going forward? Or do you lay low and let what ever happens be/hope for the best?

Hi Bain’ers, It will be super grateful to know what is the entry level package for a Manager in non-consulting role e.g. PPK. For reference, YOE - 11 yrs, 34 LPA fixed is my current package, not a manager.

Has Bain started taking from tier 2 colleges as well? I could see lots of posts for hiring by consultants with no post saying criteria of college! I wonder what is up with that! As far as I know they dont take from any college apart from Top 5-6.
