I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.

I am currently working as an consultant for kyndryl as cloud sme with 7b band on lower level 13.5 lakhs. My contract is coming to an end so I contacted my manager was offered an job at same 7b level at 17 lakhs . Should I take the offer , will I have growth in the Company? Not necessarily. I stayed around your comp level for a few years but stuck it out and wasn’t concerned about making more money as I wanted to build my career. A Sox analyst is gonna force you to specialize. Are you ready to take that plunge? If so, go for it.

If it’s a 500 person startup, cool. If it’s a 10 person startup with no benefits, I’d think twice.

SC1, you have no way to access that information usually. If you do though, then sure, the calculation changes. In my experience, you can’t access that info., so we must go w the info available, which is that the great bulk of the time a tiny startup is crap. No one is arguing there is a tiny percent that will do well. Personally, I don’t like playing lotto with my career. Again though, if you have access to all of these financials that it would be, at least in the great bulk of cases, unrealistic to have access to, sure, maybe worth it.

But firm up those numbers, ideally towards the $90k end of $85-90k.
If you like what you are doing now, go be a SOX analyst. If you don’t, go be an accountant.

Get a sense of possibility of moving up and how long a promo would take. But I mean it’s a start up you shouldn’t face the hierarchy of industry as much and the issue with getting promoted because of low turn over.
