I graduated law school in 2016, did a state clerkship, and immediately after I started working as a hearing officer. I’m looking to move to federal work and started applying. Is it unreasonable to think a GS-13 is a possible starting salary?

I think its time to introspect for the people here flaunting that they have 5 offers, 10 Offers etc. Is it ethical what we doing? Don't you think we are snatching someone else offer who was next best in the interview pool? Don't you think you are making companies time goes in vain? Don't you think we should draw a line in terms of CTC,company, working environment and accept only if it meets ours expectations? 1 initial Offer for trying, another offer only to meet expectations. No End to Greed

Hi! Anyone here an interview/career coach? I have an interview coming up with the HM for a non-tech role. Willing to pay, thanks!
I currently work at a very ”hyped” food delivery tech company. I’ve been there for 1,5 years now, but the pay is low, bad company culture and I don’t feel appreciated for the work I do. So i’m overall not to happy there, and looking for a new job. However every interview I’ve had so far ask why I want to leave such a ”great” company after less than 2 years? I don’t want to shittalk my job but it’s really makes me feel like i should stay another 6m just so I don’t look bad. What would you do?
I got an interview call from Deloitte recently and my 1st round was over. It went well. They said they will update me with feedback. But till now there is no response and it has been almost more than 2 weeks since 1st round completed. Is this usual with deloitte recruitment process, will they take long time for recruitment?
Do Kearney do abstract market sizing interview questions e.g “how many hospital parking spaces are there in the US?” and “How many windows are there in London?” In the Business Analyst interview process, or are market sizing questions imbedded in a bigger case?
Any tips/questions to prep for FDD final interview with partner? I just passed the case study and am not sure what to expect as the recruiter is out of office. Currently in audit as a third year if that helps. Thanks!
I’m doing masters research on how to improve career services in American universities. I need to interview 10 people. The type of uni doesn’t matter at this stage (private, state, community college) My goal is to help people identity and reach their dreams (career goals and more) faster via personalized services in those 4 years.
Currently making 110K as Consultant. Just accepted FAANG offer 275K 🥳. Just wanted to share this.
Can we just get rid of the typical job interview?? I feel like we would all benefit from just having a conversation about the position and the candidates skill set/experience w/o all the behavioral questions crap!

Asking people internally for work. Is this OK as a new staff? I'm on an engagement and don't need more work right now but would like to learn how PD/BD work actually works, contribute in some way.
