I would like to understand how much weight that would carry when searching for a job in Canada. Would it even matter? Also, can you suggest if it’s a good idea to approach job consultancies? If yes, any recommendations? PwC EY Deloitte KPMG

Looking for advice—currently a senior in a transformation role at a Big 4 firm and will likely be promoted to manager this year. A BCG recruiter reached out about an opportunity in their risk practice. More interested in transformation work but BCG has a great brand and I’m curious if it’s a opportunity seriously worth pursuing. Generally speaking, I’m content where I’m at but who wouldn’t love a new challenge/more $? Any thoughts on BCG risk? Is the money at MBB really that much more?

Has anyone else noticed a difference in the credentials of the new associates your firm has hired during the pandemic compared to those hired through the traditional route? Seems like my firm is hiring from schools/firms that it almost certainly wouldn’t have pre-pandemic. Curious whether this is a meaningful change in approach to hiring, a consequence of having a ton of work to go around, or a sign that others with more typical credentials are avoiding my firm (or some combination).

Guys, how are you? I'm looking for some help. I recently started working for a new company. I've been reaching out to managers, directors, seniors, and the Resource Manager since Day 1 in order to get placed on projects. When I get on a call today I find out that all of my coworkers who started with me have billable hours of at least 40 hours per week. Meanwhile, I have yet to reach that number of hours yet. So, what should I do now? I've literally done my part to get staffed in projects.
