I'm in a mid-size construction company and got 5 yeas PC experience on-site with large-scale projects. Now the company wants to transform me into estimating, which I have 0 experience in this field. consider the $$$ and the future career path, which one is better?

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

A VP told me that if I don't like our new WFH policy that I should find another firm.

Maybe I should, that's okay, but the fact that his response to my concern (2.5 hour commute both ways, not what I agreed to when I was hired) was just "find another firm" really rubs me the wrong way.

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. For the past 6 years I’ve taught high school architecture and engineering and done real estate on the side. Just a bit of background, at my firm a Senior PM is someone with 8+ years exp. I have 10 years experience and on track to making Principal in a couple of months. I seriously think I’m on the low end of the salary range as a Senior PM. What’s a typical Senior PM or Principal compensation in your firm?
