I had an interview with IBM for band 8 , completed salary discussion with HR and Bgv forms.HR was told yesterday that I will be getting offer letter today but when I check with HR today she was saying g that the position is on hold and let me know after a week.
May I know whether I will get offer letter by next week.

What will the project dynamics be on a project staffed with 3mdps, a PL, and myself, a summer UG intern? Just got staffed and will be hearing more on Monday from the team, but it came across as an interesting staffing composition.
Have the feeling I'll be making quite a few slides as the only junior. Anyone staffed on a similar case composition?

The name does trip up people, but McKinsey Implementation is not IT implementation. The name originally came for helping clients implement their strategies (think org transformations, Ops transformations, marketing and sales, etc.) and not just help them devise the strategy.
It is now basically a people pipeline to bring in experienced folks. Once hired an implementation consultant does pretty mush the same work as a generalist, same pay, promotion criteria, etc.
They usually try to have some MI people but it could be anyone! I had 1 MI AP and 2 integrative people for my interviews.
Mine all were from MI, but there is a chance you might have integrative just based on interviewer availability.

May any McK folks tell more about McK implementation practice. I am a SAP functional consultant and interested to know if the practice has any similar roles for people of my background. I am based in US.
We actually are starting to these days but it’s not an integrative role, it’s in expert consulting I think?
