**Apply Directly to the Hospital:**
- **Pros:** Stable job, better benefits, familiar team.
- **Cons:** Slower hiring, less flexibility.
**Travel Agency:**
- **Pros:** Higher pay, flexibility, diverse experience.
- **Cons:** Less stability, temporary contracts, fewer benefits.
It’s about choosing stability vs. flexibility.

You named two options that are used to secure a more permanent role....so I assume you meant recruiter instead of travel agency.
Outside recruiter firms get it wrong so often and have submitted me for jobs that did not meet my qualifications and wasted everyone's time. Worse when told they didn't care and told me "close enough". It really was not close at all.
I suggest applying directly but a lot of facilities are using computers to sort their apps first and some of those auto-deny or file away people a computer deams unqualified. So I suggest updating your resume and finding a recruiter via the hospitals website or LinkedIn and sending them a blurb about why you want to work specifically there and what specific unit and why your skills/experience would fit well.
