I’m looking to change my employment as I am not getting fairly compensated for what I do now. The problem is that I’ve been with the same company for 14 years and while I have updated and modified my resume to go with the current times, I am getting rejected right off the bat. Are there any tips that you can provide in order for me to make my resume more “attractive “ so I can at least land an interview?

Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow? I feel like this is not a good reflection of their recruiting process. Let me know if you've had recent/similar experiences

I will have next week the second interview with an exec recruiter for a company for a Director level position reporting to the COO of the company. Round 1: HR round. cleared.

Round 2: Hiring manager round. Went well.

After 2 weeks they said Role no longer available. It was L5 supply chain role. This happened in April. Can I apply again in Amazon? I joined a company 3 months ago, does it look bad in CV to leave again in 3 months? I hv a 6 month gap in career in 2019 due to lay off (covid). total exp 9 yrs. SCM exp 6 yrs.

Did anyone have an interview with Amazon for an ACC position? And know how long after the phone screen/hypo stage they contact you? It’s been two days, I’m thinking they are going to reject me if they are taking this long?

Folks who exited to Google - how long after your final round did you have you wait before getting the decision? How was the decision communicated? Would love to also hear if you were confident you’d get the offer because you crushed it, or if you felt you had a mixed interview but still eventually got the offer.
