That's a tricky one. If you interview for positions, just talk about your goals as if they go on forever. If you're asked the stock question about where you see yourself in five years, make sure you don't say sitting on a beach somewhere. Seriously, if you talk as if you've got things you want to achieve in the future, the subject of retirement may not occur to anyone.

I agree. LIke most interview, its mostly about the energy you bring as you convey something that has an impact

That's often clear, if you're older. I would counteract by expressing the desire to double down.
Is retiring early an option for you? It might beat trying to navigate this horrible job market. If not, show energy and enthusiasm in the interviews. Talk about contributions you want to make, and be specific.
Focus on the value you bring now, like experience, reliability, and mentoring others. Position yourself around impact and skills, not timelines, and let your work speak for itself.
