Probably not the best place to ask this question if you are looking for a quick (and free) answer. Check out r/tax on reddit and you will be more likely to find what you are looking for.
If you are looking for a more official answer ask your international students office, I’m sure they get this question all the time.
If you are looking for the most official of answers, go ask a trusted, licensed, CPA or Enrolled Agent.
I assume this is related to FinCen reporting. If you have lived in the U.S., you are a U.S. person for that purpose.
F1 it’s usually non US person.
Really depends upon where you file your tax return.
If you file as a regular us resident the I would pick US person, if you file as a non resident then I would go non US person.
I would ask a CPA just to be sure.
Depends what type of Visa you are on. Generally you are a US person if you meet the substantial presence test of being physically present in the US for a certain number of days. However some Visas exclude those days from counting toward the substantial presence test allowing the foreign student to be viewed as a non-US person.
