I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon
Best recruiters for moving in-house?
I attended an interview and did assignment for Multimedia designer role 15 days ago fo BMC team at EY GDS, still not heard back, interview was positive and assignment is also good. HR's don't reply to email and don't pick calls, should I keep hope or forgot it? I'm just asking for feedback because I have put 6 hours hard work in to assignment.
Got rejected from BCG final round :(
I have also recently cleared all interview rounds in TCS & HR Shared 'Salary Breakup'. Still, my status in the iBegin portal is not changing from 'Evaluation in Progress' to 'Evaluated' & so on, even after uploading all required documents. They had initiated the process 2 times, 1st on 16th Nov and 2nd on 24th. Please let me know, how long it will take to release the final offer letter. Thanks

We have two open media planner positions in Durham, NC that we’re actively interviewing for. Our client needs are heavily digital and social. That said, we don’t separate media, analytics, programmatic and adOps responsibilities, our media team is responsible for it all from ideation through optimization. We have high expectations for ourselves, but also have a great support system in place that emphasizes development at all levels. If you’re excited by this type of a role, shoot me a note. Worked at Viacom for 10 years. Unlike agencies some departments can be bloated with useless people. And the beaurocracy. Ugghhh. You aren't really expected to work late ever though, and benefits and 401k are great especially if you're going in at the Director or VP level, you get solid bonuses. Things will move slowly, and don't expect to change that. People hiding out from the actual work but who excel at social engineering can sometimes gain the support of a C Level and everyone's life becomes hell until the whole thing falls through and they get fired, then you restructure. Again. Also, I know people who have been at the same level for like 4-6 years. I dunno in 4-6 years I want to be a VP, like at least a senior director. Jeez. I couldn't imagine having to wait a whole year trying to please my boss for a three percent bump again. Not trying to scare you. This isn't everyone's experience, but for now I'm freelance, because I HATE having some HR person bullshit me about why I should be grateful for being underpaid and to tell me there's a lot of process involved with promotions and titles. Imho if you are doing it you should get paid for it, and if you want more responsibility you should get it. That's easy in an office of 50, but maybe a touch harder when there are 20k employees and the media landscape is crumbling beneath you.
If possible, find out who recruits for those companies rather than using job boards. They'll know how best to approach them. But remember the recruiters work for the companies, not for you. BTW do you know Jean Batthany, who is now VP of Global Creative at Disney?
