Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.

I would go for 100k, they will probably counter with a little under that which is still very good.
I'd aim for $95-$100k
I would ask for $100k. But as Advisory Associate 1 said, they will definitely counter with a lower offer. I won't personally go anywhere lower than $90k.
What's the salary range? I'd ask for no less than 95k base but usually 4 yoe is 100k+
They like to keep people around middle of the range so I'd go for 90-95k
In what region? You can go for $85 to $110k. 4 years experience is a good one. You can still negotiate for a higher rate. Just make sure you market yourself very well during the interviews. Get that negotiating skills working!
It’s in Jersey City, NJ I found the salary range and it’s $71k to $110k.
The max you can get is probably around $120k. Do you have other offers? You can use them to counter.
