I'm so burnt out. I thought moving a level up to RN clinical coordinator would help. I have a desk and other duties that aren't clinical. Yet, it's not enough. I'm still doing my old job with patients 70% of the time, plus my new job. No staff, no choice. But 1 year in and I still don't like it. I always want to call out. The staff are nice but they are too lax with safety.
I want to keep moving forward in nursing and I'm just not loving it anymore.
What non-clinical RN jobs do you all have?

I believe that I am being blocked from my transfer even though my manager approves it on paper. Is there any way I can find this out. If I can't successfully transfer I may have to look for work outside of my current employer.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. Is this something I should even consider? I miss my patients and some of my coworkers and the pay is better, but I don't feel like I would really be welcome to come back.
