I love marketing jargon.
HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?

I was in a similar situation. Spent 13 years in retail then 7 years in long term care. 15 of those years I managed. I've now been a pharmacist 21 years and pursued a clinical pharmacist role for a large health care system in central Texas. Now almost 2 years into my role here I can say it is the best pharmacist position I've held. I can confidently say I have no desire to manage or be back in retail. In a clinical role you work closely with the Dr's and nurses to manage care of patients. The pay is better and my hours are 8am-4pm M-F working every 4th weekend. Someone with our level of experience typically starts at a good wage as well. I'm currently at 178k/year and the hospital has a 5% match on 401k.

As a pharmacist you are capable of learning anything, first of all. Next, you will pick it back up in a heartbeat. The worst part of the job is learning the system and
” to do what you know you want to do” on the system. At least for me.good luck!
That’s a tough spot to be in, but with 36 years of experience, you’ve got a lot to offer! Have you considered roles in hospital pharmacy, long-term care, or even consulting? Maybe something in regulatory affairs or compliance? Those could be good options that use your expertise without the retail stress.
