I have 2+ years experience with Salesforce, before Salesforce I was a full-stack dev with some DevsOps experience. I worked for Finance Services and Oil & Gas companies. Right now, I wanted to make a switch to Aviation, Aerospace or Defense company. I’m in Texas, specifically Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. I would really appreciated if someone can help point me to that direction.

Deloitte experienced hires, who all received written offers and in process of visa/ onboarding, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze? Or recruiter asked you to delay joining date?

My visa got submitted couple of days back and waiting for decision. When I reached out to recruiter to give her an update and mentioned once there’s decision will discuss on the start date before putting my 2 weeks, she mentioned “Yes, we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? While accepting offer in Wipro my friend directly clicked accept and submitted after reading all the pages. But didn't fill the signature and date column in all sheet since text was not enabled. At bottom of every page in offer letter it shows as signed by user name ,user email address & date when she signed. Could anyone please confirm if this is fine or not ? Do we need to fill signature and date also above because she couldn't do anything now. Is this offer letter valid now?

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?

For people who have profit sharing what have your experiences been? Ours is every March but it is a variable number based on how we do the prior year (duh obviously) but also only my boss gets to decide and he gives no criteria on why he chooses what he does. Don’t get me wrong I am super thankful to be in a location with great PS opportunity and upside but it is so hard to plan my life out not knowing what my income will be that year. Also there’s no way to know how my bonus compares to my peer

This is the very definition of privilege

Able to post something so absurdly wrong (Google PMs in the comments explaining that she transferred ladders when she switched jobs internally, hence pay change)
