I'm trying to move from AR/VR Dev to Game Dev. Could someone please help?
I have 5 years of Unity development experience in AR/VR/XR Development for mobile devices and headsets. My PhD dissertation topic was also in AR and Data Analysis.
I've always been fascinated by Game Development and would love to make the switch. I know the market is terrible right now, but I'm in a desperate situation at my current job so I would love to find something elsewhere

Just received 2 offers that I’m weighing, both in Advertising tech:
1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!

I’m getting put up for manager a year early. I have PPMD ,SM, and M support. Pretty much support from all the key individuals on my team and in my service line. Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo. After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" very Selective jobs( MF PE and BB IBs) kinda blow these numbers out of the water... but for the more attainable exits like MM IB and and corporate development... considering wlb and pay, is the grass much greener?

What was the hardest section to get through for REG studying? Did it then pay off in the exam?

Anyone out there have an inkling for when SF May lift their freeze? The number of open positions on their site has dropped 70-75% (for US based roles) so the freeze provides an explanation for that. Just curious when they will begin to post those positions again. TIA!

I'm new to marketing and I am not formally educated in it. I have just been learning through experience with the business. I'm supposed to put together a Market report for our sales team to refer to but I have been stuck on what I even include. I have an expensive subscription to a reporting database and I am supposed to translate these technical reports into 20-30 slides. I can't figure out if I am overthinking something simple or lacking some knowledge that people formally learn in school.
