I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?

$100k would be a very generous salary for 3-years experience
Some questions:
1/ which awards? An award at The Drum doesn’t have the same value as a Cannes Lion. It’s not easy to get here on an O1 visa nowadays, you need the big awards. And not just one, but a few.
2/ what was your role on the award-winning work given you are only 3 years in?
3/ With 3 years in, I would count on 70-80k.
4/ agencies mainly hire senior talent on O1 visas. It’s pretty rare for them to hire midlevel creatives on visas in this current climate.
5/ it’s hard to break through as a junior here. Sometimes it’s better to make some solid work and gain some experience in your home country first to then come in on a higher level like senior, ACD or CD.
3 year experience + mid level w/ awards may put you around 100k, but agree w FCB1 that it’s better to come in at Sr level
Now really isn't the time to come to the US...
3 foreign and super talented creatives I know were just hired by US agencies. Agencies are still hiring exceptional talent abroad. Does immigration bother you, VPCD1?
I moved from London to NYC with 5 years experience. Got $125k starting with $5k moving bonus.
Too little. Ask for $125k. The worst that will happen is they’ll negotiate down.
