Just tell your HR exactly that and see what they say. Good luck to any company who fires someone over that. If anything you’ll have a huge payday for wrongful termination.

I’m worried about the partners I work with not taking it well.

Do you wear a mask yourself at work? It’s not a perfect solution if nobody else is wearing them, but hopefully help keeps you (and therefore your husband) protected. Can you keep your door closed and try to stay away from people as much as possible?

Definitely worth asking. I’m sorry you’re in this situation - hopefully they will be understanding.

Sorry that you have to go back :(

We’ve been back for awhile, it’s not mandatory but it’s encouraged. I go in Tuesday-Thursday.

My experience is that a lot of people in your situation are actively looking for remote opportunities -- even with offices in the same city/state, some firms are being very upfront about hiring for folks who don't want ANY demands for in-person work right now....DM me if you'd like additional resources on remote opps!

It's been around 14 weeks since I filed my tax returns along with a new ITIN application for my wife through an in person appointment at the local Chicago office. My profile is still not available on the "Where's my refund" page. Called the ITIN helpline couple weeks back and they said neither application was in the system yet and this could be due to covid processing delays. Anyone else facing lengthy delays for ITIN / tax refunds. Thanks!

I was hoping the vaccine would help us get back to more normal, open, and less restricted activities. In some ways it has but since there are so many unvaccinated, is there any other way we’ll be able to move forward from this pandemic? P.S.
