Becoming a personal care consultant has flexible work schedules and most companies are urgently hiring. You can gain some work skills by applying to home health or care facilities. You might even consider becoming a psychiatric technician as well
WOW all these CNA jobs out here and you can't find one. Where you got your certification has connection in the field. Every nursing home in AMERICA need CNA. Your best money is going to be working thru Staffing agency. Higher pay and if you can TRAVEL even higher pay. Also nursing is over rated and long and hard. Quicker and if you can travel great money is anything HEALTHCARE TECH RELATED Surgical Tech being #1, Surgical, X-ray, resp tech, cardio tecb, mammogram, etc. ANYTHING TECH RELATED THEY CAN'T FIND ENOUGH PEOPLE.
That is really wonderful news and I wish you luck on your career path! As for right now, what kind of jobs or places are you applying to? It might be your location, we have quite a few jobs for people to train to get their CNA on the job, so you already having it should be a huge step up. But, maybe your resume or something else.
I'm very interested in sterile processing and inventory tech since I feel like it'll be more informative and I can definitely use the information.

Wait are you searching for a CNA or RN job?
CNA
Also the most you would need is a Associate degree, but you can get in with. CERTIFICATIONS. Also if you can do a Double certification in healthcare tech you increase your chances EVEN MORE. Again ypu make your best mo money thru staffing agencies and traveling. Also if you are 1099 then you are responsible for your own TAXES. Just FYI
I would apply at nursing homes, rehabs, home health, private duty for personal care aides or CNA job roles. I probably wouldn’t bother with sterile processing or other tech jobs those often require certifications or previous experience. Your first clinical in nursing school will pretty much be all CNA work at a nursing home usually if you don’t have a job by then ask that nursing home if they are hiring. Once you are in nursing school it is pretty demanding and it’s difficult to work full time or try to have side adventures in other certifications. Good luck in nursing school.
