honestly, if it means you get out 5pm sharp and none of the midnight oil bullshit, i’d keep the resume out.
It’s true. I worked there and it was a ghost town by 6:00 most days. Not a bad way to live.
Yeah agree with ☝🏻. Usually companies who do this also prioritize getting you home at an ok hour too
Yeah, it’s an awful rule and to do that in a place like Dallas? No thanks. You couldn’t pay me enough to go there (Dallas or the Richard’s Group).
How strict is that start time? I mean, really, if you get your work done, who gives a flip? I’m an SVP, and i assure you I’d never show up when they told me. Get bent RG.
It’s all automatic. You have to sign in to take the elevators up. You get docked pay if you’re late more than 3 times a month.
Everyone who clocks in by 8 for the whole month gets extra pay.
Worked there - the bonuses are a facade. The overlord underpays, and gives bonuses and profit sharing to compensate. Bonus isn’t promised. The profit sharing is yours after six years. If people were truly raking it in (those there 15+ yrs are) you’d think more people you’ve heard of would be there.
Honestly, the bigger downside would be Dallas. I get in at 8 most days anyway and love it if we were always done by 6.
They won’t be on a hiring run for an Acct that size
It is a fun win! Hopefully we’ll be allowed to have beer in the office now. Doubt we’ll be hiring for it though, it’s not a huge account.
I truly cannot imagine that
So many of the posts here are complaining about there not being any work. Here's something you think you might enjoy, and you reject it because you can't keep living the yah whatever lifestyle? Enjoy the coming recession.
Every time I get into work early (9am), I get so much done before lunch it’s ridiculous. When I get in usual time (9:50), the day is over before I know it. Weird... but I get the mandatory start time.
@SRAD1
...but Dallas it’s not that bad.
A big plus of mandatory start times is all members of team are on same schedule. I’m an early bird and often have to wait a couple hours before full creative team is in and ready to meet. If everyone works same hours everyone works on same rhythm
