In FDD right now, have an LMM IB offer in hand. Considering turning down because of my good WLB and risk of layoffs. I believe during a good market I can swing a MM/BB as I've previously had a final round w a BB bank but wasn't prepped for technicals. Would I be dumb to turn down the LMM IB offer?

I have $20k in savings, I owe $6,000 to my 401k loan, that’s the only loan I got. I am debt free otherwise except for my house. Should I use my savings to pay off? Since people are talking about unemployment and being fired, I wanted to make sure I have enough, 👩🏾‍💻... What should I do? Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

I work because of this vague notion of “ambition” and because everyone I grew up around is highly competitive and hard driving. Lateraled into banking and I'm getting killed. My aso will mention to do stuff as he's walking out, says do this this and this and by the time I process what he said he's out the door then I miss something he's like I told you to do it. I'm at a smaller MM bank. My original goal was to start here and hustle through into a BB, but I wasn't expecting to really like the people (my team, my direct seniors). I think the work we do probably wouldn't differ a crazy amount (we close deals, just smaller of course) and I'm wondering if I really have a reason to try to move into a bigger bank.
