I'm always trying to do the math and decide what I should focus on. It's tough, I'll be honest. A lot of my day ends up being about putting out fires and not about being proactive, so I'm working on being a little bit less reactive this month.

Yes, I hear you about the fires. They can eat up whole days!
It will vary based on your role and what’s expected. I’d say early in your career, definitely focus on the short deals and quick wins. When you get further along, it’s easier to take the time and follow through with the longer deals.
