I have received an email after my interview with HCL from consultant stating I have selected for HCL technologies and asking for information like, when U was interviewed and whether I received any link for documents upload from HCL.
I replied to that email saying interview has been done and I am yet to receive any link from HCL for documents upload nor any call from HCL HR.
Can anybody suggest, whether the process wil take time or where should I contact for further process.HCL Technologies

Strategy provides advice to the execution / business units.
If a strategy person wants to own the decision....they need to move out of S&O and join an execution or delivery team

I'm in cloud - so we have lots of groups actually doing the work. Within those teams there are lots of people that figure out which steps to actually do to meet a goal
You have industry groups, sales groups, pso, products.
All of those groups have goals and it's up to them to determine how to meet their goals
Depends on the org. I'm on the ad sales side, and feel like the work we do is quite central and impactful to the org's success.

I am in Google S&O and my team (and related teams) support the GTM, Sales, and Post Sales orgs. There are some S&O teams that support PMM. The ones that support PM are called Product Strategy & Ops imo. But I may be wrong here.
It’s essentially a Chief of Staff office role so you will always support the VPs (they are your “client”). Like in consulting, you can always tell yourself you are creating impact, if that’s your requirement to be satisfied. Worst case, move to a Business / PM role depending which org you regularly work with (transition is easier that way). Non-Google recruiters also tend to agree with the notion that Google S&O has impact so the external perception is also sorted, just in case that was your concern.
I worked in strategy at a telecom company before. It’s true that strategy and corporate finance teams are just support teams (track metrics, identify gaps, coming up with “initiatives” here and there) but don’t own anything. Varies a bit from company to company too. Important to talk to people inside the company to find out exactly what you’ll be doing.
Who cares think about the money
Thanks BCG 2. Main downsides of S&O role and Google? Also, what kind of exits do you get/how are they suffering vs consulting? I’m considering an L7 role in S&O
