Hey Fishes.. how fast is Mercedes Benz recruitment process ?. Oct 11 I will be joining a new firm. So will they be able to to release an offer letter in a week if I clear my final interview, which is scheduled for tomorrow??
Was a bit caught off guard this week when I received notice that I was not moving forward in the interview process for a position in-house after being asked to apply by the person hiring and subsequently told I would move forward to the next stage b/c they were very interested in me. Given the sudden 180 & the fact the position is still open, I assume there was a concern about me that came up but literally no idea what it could have been! Would love advice on if (& how should ask for feedback?
Thoughts on being pregnant while freelancing? Is there any prejudice against pregnant women in the industry? Would love to interview for full time but feel weird showing up with a giant belly
Have an interview in an hour. Leaving my firm after 3 months bc the role is far less challenging and fulfilling than I anticipated, and the role’s responsibilities are way off from the job description. Should I voluntarily explain why I’m leaving so soon or should I only bring it up if asked?
How long do you prep for interviews? I’ve found that when I studied too long, I end up sounding like a robot and trying recall everything from memory, which sucks. I’ve had the best interviews when I felt more relaxed and did minimal studying
Hi All, I interviewed for infosys today and the interview went pretty well, they haven't talked about compensation yet does anyone know the salary of Associate Business Analyst? Or what can I ask them? Any suggestions?
I have heard something along the lines of if you’re in the top x% of your practice, other firms will want to bring you over. I am interviewing at two other consulting firms and am curious
Hi Deloittees, I have received an online assessment screening test from adafaces before the deloitte interview for Informatica. Any idea on what type of questions are asked in the assessment. Thanks in advance.
I interviewed with 4 people for an industry job a week ago and haven’t heard back yet. Is this normal?
Was given 3 days for a take home test as second round of an interview. Ended up having client work the entire weekend, okay to ask for another day as a result of this or no?
A v20 firm has put me through 3 rounds of interviews with about 12 people in the group. The main partner wants to talk to me a 3rd time now and my recruiter tells me the interview is over and now it’s just discussion, what’s it going to take for me to make the move. I have a few concerns that I wouldn’t raise on an interview (such as, I’m 7 years experienced in x y z but this firm does a b c, which is similar to x y z, but still not the same). I’d learn fast but also nervous. Do I bring this up?
Interviewing with two companies. Company 1 interviews done and offer received. Company 2 second round isn’t until a few weeks later. Company 2 is the company/job I’d prefer. What do I do?
1.5 days before an interview I’ve had scheduled for 2 weeks and the recruiter tells me they want me to do an edit test...
Those that exited to industry, how long from when you started applying did you actually start hearing back? It’s been a week for me without any response, but I’m wondering if that’s too soon.
Have a phone interview with FTI Consulting.. any ideas of what they ask? Also any opinions on FTI?
I'm interviewing at AP and would like to get some insight from AP folks here: 1. What is TC at AP for the director level? The breakdown would be even better. 2. What does it take to get promoted to MD from Director? What results need to be delivered to make the case for promotion and what timeline should one expect? 3. In previous posts, people have talked about a different type of work compared to other consulting firms. Can you elaborate on this? 4. Any advice on the interview process. TIA!
Looking for pointers to prepare for Facebook Privacy Program Manager, Product role interview. Any leads or inputs?
My husband and I are moving back to the Midwest to be around family. My husband suggested the move and has already started applying for new jobs in the relocated area. We currently live in Florida and I work for an insurance defense firm here. I’ve already started the process for admission in this new state. I’m thinking about asking the firm I am at if they would let me work remote as I would prefer to stay with the firm I am at. Thoughts on how to approach this?
McKinsey, advanced analytics analyst for marketing&sales. Any interview advice? By recruiter it sounds like a long long process

Seeking benefit clarification - US Health Indursnce says “Employee cover starts frm $17.65 PCM w/ $400 per month contribution by employer”. What does this mean? Worried about mental health costs/srvcs

I’m currently interviewing for SM with Accenture Strategy. Any know the base and bonus ranges?
Intern here! Did anyone rerecruit to another firm after a summer internship in consulting? If so, why? From where to what firms? What resources did you use?
Picked this up the day my bonus cleared. Ended up picking this over the JLC moonphase in case anyone was wondering from my last post
My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
1. Client asks for 40 hours of PPT training 2. Client insists on taking decks to legal review, who cuts to 10 pages of “steps only” job aids 3. Client complains there are two many words on job aid
Compensation/Year end discussion is coming soon, in a normal year, what are some good questions to ask? Tips for the conversation? What adjustments would you make, if any, for that conversation this year?
How much tip do you leave when you check out of your hotel room? Does your firm allow you to expense it out of pocket?
So I’m in a pickle. I’m 26, been in car sales for 6 years, and have no college under my belt. I want to get out of the car business but do not know what to transition to especially with my lack of experience and making 100k a year. I can’t seem to find a solid exit strategy. Thoughts?
First project. Client likes me. Team likes me. Project is 4+ years long with multiple lines of work happening. Too long of a project? Stay or go?
