Will EY announce raises soon?
AlixPartners I am expecting an offer for VP in financial crime/compliance and risk. I need to give them my compensation expectation. Currently working in Bank with 7+ YOE including 6 yrs in Big4 non-MBA (Masters in Finance). What is the total comp (base+bonus) that I can ask for? What is the general sign on bonus? Thanks in advance

It's baffling that you can live in SF for 85k. 125k in FL is amazing. Just watch out for lifestyle creep when you move!
The COL adjustment alone is even more significant than the pay bump. Slam dunk
Plus no state tax in FL - yes slam dunk
40k jump, so almost ~3k per month extra - sounds like a slam dunk to me.
Slam dunk.
Welcome to Miami
I’m goin’ to Miami
Triple whammy. 50% raise, no state income tax, much much lower COL to get a larger place. Upside all around.
TAKE IT AND RUN
Slam dunk. Are you stupid? How did you even get that job offer and you have to ask us?
Whats your consulting background? Really interested in getting into real estate dev out of consulting in SF but all my experience is in tech finance/operations. Does it translate over to real estate?
^ I second this question 🙏
duh
Also account for no income tax on Florida. Slam. Dunk. Where at?
But the rona...
But Florida man
Recently did a similar move at higher salary. Equivalent of almost doubling your salary. SLAM DUNK
What industry did you move into?
Welcome to Narcosssss
Slam dunk!
Yeah. No question. Make the move out of the cesspool that’s is SF, and never look back.
I like all cities. Except NY.
I’m in Miami. That’s a pretty good for what you’d get down here. Keep in mind that south Florida doesn’t pay as well as the other big markets.
I was born and raised here, so my roots are here. My gut tells me eventually I will leave because honestly career opportunities are better elsewhere. However, if real estate dev is where you want to stay, Miami is massive for that. This city is building vertical now, so I’d say the demand will stay hot.
Dunk slam .. slam dunk **
Yes with a lower col city.
