New to insurance, please can someone explain what "capacity" means in the context of a managing general agent or coverholder in the insurance world? E.g. "An MGA securing more capacity to write D&O lines"

1 week sober! Over the last 12 years (I’m early 30s) I’ve reached this point just a handful of times. Alcohol is deeply intertwined into my social life much like everyone’s is I imagine. How are you guys handling your mental health with job rejections or not getting interviews? I’m trying to stay optimistic but it’s soul crushing to see people you know get better jobs when you have been on the job hunt for awhile. I understand not comparing yourself to others but it’s hard when you realize you’re at the bottom of the totem pole and everyone else around you is progressing.

My job (no longer a senior accountant) is high volume and fast paced. I’m getting on average 50 emails a day with at least half of those containing action items, in addition to the high volume of work I have on a daily basis. I am a CPA, have worked in audit and was briefly in industry and this is absolutely destroying my mental health. I need something a lot more laid back—I’m not afraid of hard work but this is too much. Please leave suggestions, I’m terrified of what this will do to me.
