Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

What firm? In today’s market, this is crazy low! What is your background? A rule of thumb for switching jobs (usually): current salary + 20%.
This is more like the entry level offers I saw in this area at places like CGI/CSC/ACN in...2006.
For policy work it isn’t crazy at all because entry level policy jobs are like paid internships with how many people come to DC looking to get into policy. I would never myself but have friends (with masters) that have. Personally can’t believe people choose these roles though.
Don’t get me wrong, $55k is low. Separately, to your last question…at face value I’d pay someone minimally more with 1 YoE as someone fresh out of college fwiw.
Non-tech and no clearance? It sounds low but not asinine. If you are private sector that is an awful offer. You can find more competitive offers without much struggle.
Oh helllll nah
Why did you take the interviews if the comp was so low? But I’ve actually never heard of a consultant salary being that low in DC (I’m at $150k in DC as a C)
Yeah I think C was their analyst/senior analyst equivalent when compared to ACN
It’s probably fed firms? They tend to pay a lot less
For context: not a fed firm, for profit, work for both of them was in the policy/market intelligence space. One of them even listed an MA as preferred, LOL
“It depends”
There are salaries all over the board. I can see some places giving that much for entry level. It makes sense
BUT if you’re going with a big 4 MBb I’d expect way more. At D, that’s entry analyst wages 5 years ago
Why would you move to a higher COL area at half the pay?
I never said I would lol I was just shocked at the offer
Is this for an 8(a) small business?
Nope! An LLC with ~120 FTE
