Interviewing for a remote property adjuster position at USAA. Anyone know what this positions pay band starts and ends at roughly? I like the work life balance they offer and hard stance on no overtime/weekends. However, I’m a little concerned they’re trying to low ball me hard.

Serious question… if I am interested in becoming a CTO/CDO one day, what should I do for the next 5-8 years to prepare for this? Are there specific roles in tech that prepares you for a CTO role? I am currently in sales engineering with over a decade in consulting experience.

Any suggestions on Tech Consulting to Product Management path (certifications, courses etc)? 6yoe including tech implementations (BI, ERP) ; consider myself a generalist. Honestly looking for an exit into some intesesting product related work (potentially in big tech) but wondering how to reframe my exp & upskill myself in Prod space.

Is it really unrealistic to expect a raise in this current economic climate? Review period is coming up in July, and I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot by not asking for a raise.

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .
