Interviews seem to be getting longer and longer. recently went through a process with multiple interview rounds, meeting several stakeholders over a few weeks. By the end, I felt like the company knew me well, but I also wondered whether every round was really necessary.
Have interview processes become too long for legal roles? How many rounds do you think are reasonable before both the candidate and the company have enough information to make a decision?

I’m a newly graduate from a community college. My program of study was Health Information Technician. I passed my RHIT exam a month ago, and I’ve been applying to jobs in state, out of state, and remotely to only receive “sorry you were not selected email.”I don’t have experience and I know that’s the reason I’m not getting selected. I’ve applied for receptionist, medical biller/coordinator, and medical clerk. Even with inflation willing to work for minimum wage or less just to gain experience.

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

Anyone have any suggestions on how to break into this field as a mid-level commercial litigator? I was thinking of taking the CIPP-US test but would that be enough to get some interview traction?

Would anyone help me with time limit for HCL interview after successful completion of 2 technical round. It has been 2 weeks now and no response from HCL technology. I don’t know what’s going so wrong.

I have applied to 42 jobs and received 20 rejections, with 0 opportunities to even interview.

My resume is from WSO template, and I used suggested wording from various popular resume websites.

I don’t understand why I’ve gotten such a large amount of rejections. Am I applying to position in under or over qualified for? Does my resume suck? Is it just a bad time to apply? How do I improve from here?

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

The billable hours and lack of work life balance are really getting to me and I am looking to switch to something else out of litigation, preferably in house.
