Does Alvarez and Marshall have technology consulting? Anything related to IT/Digital/Cloud

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

I’ve applied to 3 program manager roles with google and even though I feel I’m over qualified, I’m not getting any interviews or even a screening call from a recruiter. I got NTD for 2/3 already.

My question is about case interview preparation, I have been mainly practicing candidate-led style so far and don't have much info about interviewer-led approach that McK utilizes. Considering short time-frame to prepare, which strategy should I follow? Are these styles very different?

I had a call with a recruiter at BCG towards the end of last week. I went to check the job description for the role on the careers website and it’s not there anymore. Instead it says, “we’re sorry…the job you are trying to apply for has been filled.” Why would the recruiter reach out to me about applying for this role if they were going to fill it so soon? The role is still listed on LinkedIn but when I click apply it takes me to the BCG careers page with the note saying the role has been filled
