I'm approached by the AP recruiter and in the final interview process for an SVP role (digital practice).
Already have two other offers (Strategy @ Walmart, 300K TC, and Marketing@ Amazon, 220K TC). 10 YOE
1. Will AP's SVP TC be higher than $300K? What's the breakdown?
2. Would you choose AP over Strategy @ Walmart or Marketing @ Amazon?

Pretty terrible for total comp but you're also a Manager at 4 YOE so I'm guessing you work at a firm with inflated titles or something. 130k total comp is pretty good 4 years into consulting
Sounds like a ‘manager’ role but not really. More like an SC role.
My first thought. Inflated title
I’ve seen new grads make more than that
Comp seems low for the title- I make similar at the level below M at my firm + typically see M salary ranging from $150-200k base
How are you 4 YOE and a manager? Top 10 is so vague. Tier 2 and B4 should have you eat over that as a manager.
For a manger that’s horrible comp. For 4 YOE, not horrible but nothing crazy.
I’m 5yoe and I’m 160k total comp. Switch companies and you’ll get yo there.
Top 10? What domain?
Janitorial services
I think for this market not terrible for that years of experience but for the title itself I’ve defs seen higher TC
I was $185k base as an M1 with ~5 YOE at a boutique. Ended up getting recruited to another role before EOY bonus but target was 25% of base. This was good but not exceptional comp.
$130k TC is pretty low no matter how you slice it. Not bad for 4 YOE if you’re not in strategy though
Perfectly fine comp for 4 YOE assuming you're not at MBB, T2, B4.
Terrible comp for Manager but that's probably due to the role expectations. My TC is double that but I have ~6 more YOE and am presumably in a higher paid discipline
I make 140k as a senior associate at PwC, definitely low. Don’t let those rats take your bread fam 🥸
Lame
Sure you could make more, but if you really could make the switch, why didn’t you?
$130K in a LCOL at B4
130 is what i got for M1 back in 2018. I think market now is more like 150?
I’m @ 130k as a Senior 3 in Tech Risk in HCOL with almost 4 YOE.
I make 140 as senior consultant 5 YOE
Our strong performing undergrad + 4 would have just made C at ~190TC
My base at big 4 as a senior consultant in 2018 was 120k
Consulting is pretty broad. $130 at 4 years in for any flavor of management consulting is pretty low. Not bad if you’re talking about non-client facing or lower skilled staff augmentation “consulting”
Depends on which big 4 and practice. Pwc and KPMG… 2 years at associate, 2 years at SA to manager is very possible. Also, an SA in big 4 closer to $130
