When agencies post pics of their white staff, and boasts that they’re all about diversity, I call BS. A diverse house doesn’t mean the IT person or the receptionist- unless they’re also creatives!:)

Anyone have any good diversity training resources?

Kind of a quick rant. I did a quick search through some firms websites because I am thinking of switching jobs. It is definitely clear most firms still do not embrace diversity. I know diverse applicants must be just as qualified! So what is keeping attorneys of color out?? It’s so discouraging.

If consumers prefer diversity in ads, wouldn't it make sense to have a more diverse industry? Why does agencies lack diversity?

Do people in studios get paid substantially more than other offerings or practice (exploring to switch, thus asking)? what is the average consultant income bracket in studio? I was also wondering if anyone aware of gender centric wage disparity in DUSI?

Would it be wild if I added my preferred gender pronouns to my signature? (He/his)

Is anyone wondering what life will really be like for all the new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion executives that many companies are hiring and bragging about now? I wonder how much power they will actually have to effect change. I wonder how long the trend will last.

Hey team! I've been thinking about what success would mean in terms of this platform and general inclusion in the team. These are some of my thoughts:

1. Frequency of positive engagements (positive in a productive, constructive sense)
2. Increasing numbers of people engaging in each topic as they get more comfortable using the tool and airing their opinions
3. Some measure outside the app of team engagement in day to day interactions (changes in psychological safety)

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I had IVF process to get pregnant. During pre- embryo transfer we were told that girl embryo is being transferred. Currently I am 18 week pregnant. I had anatomy scan and we found out we are having a boy. Baby looked all healthy but due to gender discrepancy, We are asked to do additional testing and genetic disorder screening. Anyone had similar experience?

Clawback clause in current contract: been in role for over 2 yrs, it was an internal move that required relocation. Relocation was approved shortly after (over 2 yrs ago) but covid meant the actual move and start of my contract with new subsidiary was delayed, I was paid by the previous subsidiary meanwhile.
