Is $15 an hour too low for a dental assistant position? I'm not certified so I understand that I'm going to make less money, but I'm wondering if that's a little low even with no certification. Should I be asking for more? This is my second year at this job.

Recently I have completed probation in Accenture, and got offer from HCL, Is there any chance to revise the package? because I have completed only 6 months in Accenture, If I compare CTC of both there is huge difference it's round 10 lacs, HCL offering 60 per hike.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.

Setting healthy boundaries with family is HARD. Specifically a family that suppresses emotions, gets defensive, won’t talk out conflict, tons of gaslighting.

It’s so hard to stay connected when I’m so misunderstood and disrespected constantly. It’s never huge, but a constant 3-4 out of 10 no matter the day. We never talk about anything.

I’m just so exhausted trying to make it work with them. I don’t have many friends (hey pandemic) and it’s so, so lonely.

I'm an accounts receivable expert with 8+ yrs of experience. I started with 96k per annum in 2014, and have worked with 4 different MNCs since then. Currently I'm getting approx 9Lpa, and it feels like I'm pretty much stuck here. Switching jobs increases the pay scale, while staying for a while reflects stability.

When I look at the other member's comments here, it seems majority of folks are earning 20-30Lpa or even more.

I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Has anyone found anything that is legit work from home? Either remote treatment plan presenting or helping with scheduling? I really need something from home because my husband travels so much. Why are people always surprised when we're closed for holidays? There are emergencies but being rude because we won't book a 9am cleaning on Thanksgiving is incredible
