I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Are you trying to pump yourself up by posting this?
Chill out D2
Na you should be saving at least 150k
If you’re saving almost 40% of your post-tax income, I’d say that’s pretty damn good in NYC
Weird flex but ok
Cmon D2! Be nice! When there are people on fb bragging about 200-300k salary figures, OP is not doing anything remotely close to that. He is just looking for an opinion, maybe a little validation
Who brags about their salary on FB? That’s so gauche
It’s pretty good
Damn good OP. Hopefully you’re maxing out on 401K as well? With no debt, now is the time to save so seems like you’re on right path.
Keep that up and before you know it you'll make more from your savings than your work.
I hear this cited from time to time, but it’s so hard to imagine that being true until you are late in the game. The only exception I can think of is heavy real estate investment, but that takes a lot of time and energy to set up at the level we’re talking
