When will the salary be credited in Optum.
I’m job hunting in Los Angeles, looking at a variety of titles (HRBP, Sr. HRBP, Manager, Sr. Manager, Director). I have 8 YOE and my SHRM-SCP. I reached my report limit on payscale.com, so I used a variety of other sites to price the roles (BLS, salary.com, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Robert Half). The problem I’m having is the huge inconsistencies between sources (there are $40k differences between some of the identified medians). (Continued…)
What will be inhand salary?

Hard to knock that much of a bump. The biggest challenge with Wipro or similar is that your work will ultimately boil down to outsourcing bodies, where your Deloitte work is more likely to be based on projects and, hopefully, solving business problems. So, your career growth at Wipro will be focused on operating an outsourcing contract vs "consulting". I think we can all get a little precious around what's more valuable, but it's worth thinking about what you want to spend your time learning how to do.

How much are you making now and what levels are you being offered at big4?
I’d consider what the next 2-3 years would look like at big4 vs a WITCH

Wipro is not a bad place, but tend to be more tech / implementation focused.
A little lower on the consulting food chain.
Unless you really need the money, I’d focus less on short term comp and more on the experience and skills you’ll get at your next gig.
Yes go
Do you like project management? If the PwC/EY manager roles have you leading a team d leading an engagement, I’d suggest them over Wipro if it’s just PM at Wipro. IMO the learning would be more valuable and lead to more $$ in the future.

Yep. You can come to PwC or Deloitte from Wipro if you want to later. Take the cheddar because that’s a lot of cheddar.
It is a lot of cheddar, especially being in Canada (our salaries are typically less than the US). Was a lot more than what I was expecting so wondering if it’s a red flag.
Would love to hear from people who are currently working/have worked at Appirio/Wipro
congrats on 20 or 60k raise. that’s phat!!
