Power outage at DAL. Slight delays
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

For someone from big four it’s useless even with a pay raise. Accenture at best is a refined Infosys.
People frequently switch back from industry to consulting. As they bring networks they are usually promoted higher. Keep collecting relationship points at your organization.
Look at the stock performance over the last couple of years. New low today. And they are atleast 500k overstaffed
I don’t know if Accenture qualifies as “career accelerator “. If you getting a solid bump in comp, perhaps it’s worth it vs having no scope of promotion at KPMG
The comp would be a considerable jump and I don’t foresee myself staying there too long because I eventually want to do my own thing. But everyone seems to have awful experiences at ACN, so do I just go and use my time well for 2-3 years then bounce?
If only 2-3 years and seeking higher comp, it's worth seeing what you get on paper. Especially if remote.
That aside, not recommended. Look at Accenture posts on Reddit. You'll see.
This is helpful. Thank you
Piling on to others. ACN has no strategy and is not investing in skilling up people so not quite sure there is a compelling value prop other than the title and salary increase you mentioned. Add to that the leadership you will work with are door knobs so you will be banging your head on the wall at least by week 6, after the sizzle has faded.
WLB pretty good tho 🤙
