How do I pivot from a broker to any job in tech?

This might be a long shot but I'm looking for a volunteer who is trying to break into a federal career. Maybe a transitioning veteran, recent grad, or career-changer.

I'm pursuing my master career coaching cert and need to do a recorded 45-minute session. You don't have to be identified if you don't want to.

Currently going through the hiring process for a role in San Francisco. They told me the starting base was $110K, but this sounds like pennies in a city like San Francisco! I recently received an opportunity from Google for a position of TAM and asked to schedule interviews. I got to speak with them and discuss about the role and then the HR linked myself with recruiter. But after a week, they did not scheduled any interviews and neither of them responding to my emails. Is the hiring at Google going freeze due to upcoming recession? If anybody else faced similar issues, please let me know. Also advise what should I do ?

10+ years experience but applying to a role with maybe 7 years relevant experience in related field as a PMM. Any suggestions on how to figure out your level and provide compensation expectations to the recruiter? I am in the mt view, CA area and can go into office if that info helps too.

I have two referrals for a position that I’m trying to apply to, however only one of the employee referrals is showing “attached” to the application. I accepted both employee referrals and they both show under my google account, but for the specific job application (which hasn’t been submitted yet) that one referral just won’t show up!!

Heard from recruiter that my onsite feedback was very strong and hiring manager thought I would be a great fit, but they went ahead with an internal candidate doing similar role with an adjacent team.

She mentioned that there is another very similar role open, and she will speak to the recruiter of that role about me. Has anyone seen that work or was she being nice? If not, I might as well apply to this new role online and give it a shot. TIA

I have 7 YOE and applied for a position that is L4. I feel as if I’m overqualified for the position, but the Recruiter told me that when they say L4, they are actually looking for someone with 6+ years of experience. Is this true? I feel like I should be looking at L5 with my experience
