Hi all, asking on behalf of my SO. He’s currently in a backend engineer security role and wants to move into an infra related one. He’s in talks with his manager about moving internally in his current company but that is still in discussion. He just got an offer from another company for an infra role but they need an answer in the next week. How do you guys suggest he push for a decision from his manager about the internal move. Joined in Oct for SAP functional. Now one manager who interviewed me reached out that there is a training material developer project which will start on 20 nov for Oracle timeline is 2 months only and SAP projects are in pipeline there was one coming but no guarantee if its final and if it has to come it will be in this month because in dec new projects do not onboard. I have worked on oracle in the past but now am fully into SAP. Should I take this project or wait until Jan for SAP project?

I need to start waking up early to get into workout /yoga and meditation routine. I tried today and kept snoozing my alarm for 2 hours.

Hey fishes, I have an offer from a Big4 firm in Dublin for tech consulting in SA1 position. I have been offered 53k as fixed and a bonus of max 7.5% of fixed compensation. I do have a prior experience of about 40 months in Big4.
