Having a labubu on something you bring to work could instantly lose your credibility. Everyone is entitled to be themselves but looking and acting professional and presentable still are important I think, even if people won’t say it up front. Maybe fairly or unfairly there is a chance someone sees that and instantly thinks you’re not serious about your job and it’s sometimes hard to lose that impression…
53yo childfree male veteran here. You do you. If I even noticed I'd find it cute and humanizing. Life is too short for overly serious people. Do good work, that's all that matters.
First sentence, sure but why the second sentence?
As for the first, I'm just contextualizing myself as someone that might not be considered as someone that would be open to a cutesy keychain. I debated including it and even deleted it twice 🤪
Professionally speaking, by definition childish falls under the category of "unprofessional"
Someone clearly hasn't watched The Boss Baby. /s

Real pros have Chthulhu on their work bag
All hail Lord Cthulhu, sower of madness in the hearts of men.
Is your client Labubu? Then go for it.
These people are all just jealous that they don’t have Labubus. Probably rocking Lafufus on their gym bags. Do your thing!
Depends on your line of work
I don't think so. But I wear a childish bracelet that my 6 year old made me basically every day.
I don't even know what a labubu is.

If someone judges you for that they better not be on my team! Be you.
I hate to yuck someone else's yum, but yeah. Bringing something like that into a serious arena would make me question your judgement.
Depends on the work you do, of course.
I one time brought a comic book to an office and had great conversations with many mangers about Batman lol. So I would say no
Exactly, do you man, I keep star wars and warhammer stuff on my bag or headphones case and it always sparks conversation and helps break the ice cold “professionalism” vibes. We’re human and have human interests and hobbies. We don’t need to be best friends (bc absolutely not) but we could be friendly.
I have a Lego hot dog on my bag
Depends on the client environment
I had to google to know what that is 🤣
Just bring it. Also, other than Financial Services, a lot of clients don’t even wear proper office attire anymore. They’re really casual. Plus it would be a great conversation starter. An expensive TUMI bag won’t be.
yes
I like childish cute keychains - but Labubu's are just ugly 😛
One time I hired a helicopter to drop me off on the roof top at work. I was wearing flip flops. A week later, half the professionals were wearing flip flops
It really depends on how you wear your labubu key chain
