Hi everyone!
I've been offered a job at Publicis Sapient as a front-end developer (React Js).
What kind of work culture, work load and tech stack exposure should I be expecting?
I'm having 1 year experience.
I've also got offers from IndiaMART InterMESH Limited, Amdocs, Verizon and Collegedunia.
All for the role of front-end web developer.
I'm very confused between all of them.

Direct wins almost every time.

I use a 3rd party aggregator for my initial search, then book directly.
Directly
Through Expedia 😤 You get regular miles/points plus Expedia cash that you can spend on more trips. What I’d recommend is book direct with cancellation until you’re close to the date then book with Expedia and cancel
lol nah I meant the joke there. I gain nothing wherever they choose to book as I’m with Vrbo
Directly - only and always.

Expedia. Used to book direct and then literally had a Marriott not honor the price matching. Never had an issue, get a bunch of perks (free wine, upgrades, meal voucher) and then the cash I get can be used at more than just one brand which is very helpful for me as I evaluate hotels in a city based on newness - willing to sacrifice some service for typically cleaner accommodation (vs just location/ratings, etc).
Through travel agents who don’t charge a fee .. I almost always get better pricing and or lots of perks I wouldn’t be able to get otherwise
I too use a travel agent and she is great! She’s been in the aviation industry for years. I’m sure she wouldn’t mind me passing her info along for business Ms. Hogan with travelnet 2569091300
Most people are saying direct is cheaper. But why has my experience been different - I thought booking . com was cheaper
Didn’t say anything about it being cheaper. It will only take one hotel not being able to find your 3rd party reservation for you to spend that extra $20 you “saved”.
Most hotels direct have a price matches + 20% off (like Marriott and Hyatt). Priceline is good for non-large chain hotels where they do the hidden hotel deals (which can be really good).
I recently did Expedia for hotel plus flight and it’s definitely been cheaper than directly booking flight from AA and the hotel.

Direct if I can use corporate rate but there are times Booking gives better deals. Compare
Booking = nickle and dime on add-ons 🤮
Priceline is pretty good with the Chrome extension that lets you see what hotel their express deals are. They’re not too hard to figure out yourself but the extension takes the hassle out of it.
I found in Asia Agoda is usually the cheapest OTA, and even when I’ve called to see if the hotel price matches Agoda, sometimes they say they don’t and tell me to just book the via the OTA.
Otherwise if you don’t have status, I also check places like Virtuoso or a hotel chain affiliate TA program like Four Seasons Preferred Partners or Marriott Stars/Luminous to get the status treatment for the same price as booking direct. They always guarantee breakfast, one category room upgrade, and usually some sort of credit be it dining or spa to be used at the hotel.
Confirming Agoda. Recently took a trip to multiple destinations in Asia and Agoda consistently had the best rates.
My wife was a travel agent. She said always book through the hotel’s website. They’ll give you better rooms, better service with adjustments etc. Cheap sites get their less desirable rooms and no direct connect to solve grievances.
I always book direct but here is another thing I recently discovered - check same hotel website but via phone. Some European hotels offer cheaper rates (same rooms) when you book through phone.
Direct if you’re going with one of the big chains
I like direct but recently when stranded in Atlanta for 3 nights of airport delays (you couldn’t make it up), I used www.hotelstonight.com to land a five star at a great rate. All same day stuff.

Direct 💯
Directly, unless you’re using Hotwire for a deal or something like that
