I enjoy my team as we work together to solve client needs. They are hardworking, smart, problem solvers. I learn from them and they learn from me. Humans are difficult, clients and internal teammates. We have different needs and priorities. Taking the effort to understand people and do something with that understanding is satisfying
No. You misread or misunderstood what I wrote. I believe in you. You can get there.
I enjoy managing the chaos. Making wins out of the onslaught of regulatory and FDA curve balls is fun.
Unfortunately, it really requires a lot of equitable weight and ethical behavior taking place among the account people. For instance on my brands in the past, I’ve run into senior account people working 2-4 hours a day and not understanding the pulse of the business while junior account people run circles around them and sometimes lack key guidance points. The creative team at large suffers when this happens. I feel like once account people reach the mid-top end they either became stellar rainmakers or they are empty seats at a costly price tag.
I hear what you’re saying and I feel you. I also agree with WT1. The people I work with are amazing, and I care for them deeply. Pharma is also where I built my career so it’s a specialty type of knowledge that’s valuable in the space. But I am so, so, sooooo drained.
