Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA
My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
I recently joined nagarro.... was on bench for almost a month as I was not getting project as per my skill set. Recently got one project as per my skillset and cleared client interview also.
But during the time, I was also looking outside for good opportunity, I have one with same package from a product based organization.
What should I do now ? If I resign , would Nagarro release me early or I will have to serve complete notice period?

I say I make more than their top range so they think I won’t accept anything lower
This is a really great way to answer this honestly. I always ask them what their range is and then say the top of their range. I don't give them an answer on what I am currently making.
In some states, and in some cities, it's illegal for potential employers to ask about that. It seems odd for an interviewer to become confrontational about that, as it's an issue that's been talked about a lot. It's generally better to let them give the salary range and proceed from there.
Companies always try to figure out what you’re earning. I always I’m earning within the hiring positions salary range to ensure I am not undercutting myself.
They cannot ask what you currently make. If they insists on you sharing salary expectations, just tell them you’ve been interviewing for roles that pays between $xx,xxx to $xx,xxx.

I get asked that quite a bit when I go to interviews, so I’ve always found it to be quite a common question. Whether or not it’s ethical from them is another matter. I always lie and inflate the figure by 10%
