Is it okay to request a virtual interview instead of f2f? Company wants to fly me out for the final round (presumably to gauge culture fit). I’m taking all of my PTO in October for my wedding, starting the busy season, and realizing that it will be very difficult to find a full day before January that I could take.

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I am now actively looking but how do I explain to other employers why I am actively looking and what do I put on my resume? I have never had to deal with this before.

Hi. I was recently offered two jobs within the company. I had to turn down the first offer. I feel really awful about it. I really liked that team and the hiring manager. HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here.
