Is it too early to exit consulting after 8-9 months? I like consulting but saw a Strategy Associate position in my dream company so I applied and made it through 2 interviews so far. (Continued)
Would moving from audit to a financial analyst role hinder chances of ever making it to IB? FA role includes FP&A type work and working with financial models. I am also looking at transaction...
What’s the craziest expense violation investigation you have ever heard of? Multiple team members interviewed or just audits?

What do you do if you’re interviewing somewhere and everyone you meet is white? Multiple rounds. I don’t expect to be surrounded by diversity but... am I the token then?
Just aced another fake interview in the shower. I gotta say, they asked some pretty hard-hitting questions, but I really feel like I nailed this one.
Got offered a final interview, which is out of state, and they did not offer any travel assistance or a hotel... has anyone experienced this? The salary will clearly suck, right?
About to graduate with a MS in Data Science from NY. Saw an "advanced analytics specialist" role for 2020 start at Bain. Anyone familiar with the company/role? nterview process/tools used/salary?

So apparently accenture is making people who are on the bench enroll into a mandatory customer service role even if you’re 100% utilized. Friend took 3 weeks of PTO and has been on the bench for a few days and he is being forced. Worst part? It’s Tues-Saturday.
I'm starting to seek new opportunities both in industry and at other firms. For those that have moved: how did you prepare for interviews? Are there any good online resources you know of?

Trump is spot on Re: Nord Stream II pipeline. If we are to help defend Germany, they should not be buying Russian oil/gas. Reliance on Russian energy puts them in a compromising position. Why should we bankroll Germany’s defense against Russia when German energy purchases are lining Russia’s pockets? Isn’t Russia the biggest geopolitical threat to Germany in the first place? Buy American LNG exports before turning towards a geopolitical adversary!
Bored spending time on bench as senior and biting nails about promotion year. Interviewed and got manager rank for "really" good company. Take up the offer or negotiate with partner?

Best consultancy for grad schemes? I’ll go first - ours is too static and does not reward performance (no early promotions etc). Lots of attrition during and just after (as per usual).
Would love tips on successful breast feeding! I'm pregnant with #2 and want to try again. With my first I had issues with latching, clogged ducts and supply. We switched exclusively to formula at 2mo.
Just back to work and still pumping. I want to keep my baby (4 mo) on breastmilk, but this pumping schedule is brutal. I feel like I can’t focus on anything since I’m counting down to the next pump...
Not getting promoted, on the bench now for a week and reluctant/unmotivated to get staffed b/c my utilization won't matter at this point for YE or next year. Can I chill or will I get in trouble?
