Is it weird to reach out to a recruiter/HR person from a company? I applied to a job at a company that I really like and seem to be a great fit for the role. However, I’ve not heard back and the role is still posted on their site more than 2 months later. I googled for a recruiter from the company and came across the “talent acquisition partner” on LinkedIn. Is it super weird to send her a message? I don’t know how this whole networking thing is supposed to work.

I got an offer to work at a Gensler office, but something has come up and need to move/work in a different city. Can I ask them to transfer me before I accept the offer? Will they do this if there is the same role currently open in the new city?

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?
